  • Perform on-site air quality monitoring and PCM (phase contrast microscopy) analysis for airborne concentration of asbestos fibers
  • Monitor asbestos air clearance using PCM/TEM (phase contrast microscopy/transmission electron microscopy) methods
  • Test suspect asbestos dust utilizing micro-vacuum or wipe sampling methods
  • Conduct initial and negative exposure assessments to determine employee exposure levels in regards to the Permissible Exposure Limit as established by OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration)
  • Execute asbestos building surveys in accordance with  NESHAP (National Emissions Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants) & AHERA (Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act) Develop asbestos assessment reports outlining facts and findings of NESHAP and AHERA surveys

  • Initiate management planning by reviewing, evaluating and veriying all inspection reports, quantifying material, recommending response actions, providing cost estimates and developing an operations maintenance plan
  • Establish operations and maintenance planning to develop specific procedures and practices for the interim control of asbestos-containing materials in buildings
  • Determine project design for the development of remediation specifications
  • Carry out project monitoring and oversight by conducting daily air sampling and documentation of airborne fiber concentrations inside and outside of work areas (beginning prior to implementation of abatement procedures until demobilization from work site)
